Blackout
Ebonite minxen entered her new home. She took her time, pausing everyonce and a while to get used to the new sights, sounds, and smells. T'was definitly wonderful to have a new home, she didn't want to loose it. She flickered her auds, white flecks spilling all around her, yet softly. Her long pillars crunched through the snow. She smiled. She loved winter. Her dark, rich black coat definatly stood out against the winter scene, but she wasn't trying to hide from anyone, so she didn't care. She looked around with her liquid brown orbs, wondering where Riadon was. She nickered for him.

Riadon
The large two toned stag had been pawing lazily at the snow attempting to unearth some surviving vegetation to snack on mostly out of his own boredom. Hearing the nicker his large dial rose and returned the nicker with one of his own deep rumbling ones to symbolize he was on his way. Turning he began to plow through the snow, it parted around his legs as if he had ordered it to and plowing through the high snow was no problem for him. The white of his hide blended easily with the powdery ivory blanket but the ebonite of his hide stood out starkly in contrast. Halting in front of Blackout he gave his head a curt nod of greeting before speaking. "Welcome to your new home Blackout. It looks better in spring not quiet as empty" His eyes sparkled in a good natured manner. He was always in a better mood in his own land than in the claiming lands.

Blackout
Long, ivory blaze turned towards to two-toned stag. Muzzle lowered to the glistening snow below her, and she rest her muzzle on some ice. Auds flickered as she caught his reply. She smiled. Thats alright. I didn't expect much. Everything is sort of gloomy during the winter. She spoke politely. She nodded her tiara. Lifting one of her pillars, she pawed at the snow, slightly bored. She had no idea of what to think, or do at the present moment, so she just waited patiently for him to say something to her. iik post

Riadon
He noticed how formal she seemed and he felt there was no need for it but decided to let her get comfortable on her own. "Well, would you like a tour of the terra Blackout?" His words where still a deep rumble from his broad chest, but they weren't as cold sounding this time. They where warmer and more of a friendly manner was floating around him. Unlike the formal way he had acted at the claiming grounds. Mine too

Blackout
She shrugged, for it didn't really matter to her. Why not. She replied to him. She pawed at some snow, which padded it into the ground. Thorns flickered at every sound. She wasn't excactly sure what to think. It wasn't that she didn't like the lands, or Riadon, no, they were both fine, but her mind was pre-occupied by the war. Riadon, if you were forced to choose between the lights, and the darks, who would you choose? She asked intently. His choice could change their destiny. Well, no, but maybe. Ah well. She wondered what the darks were up to. And the lights. She had heard of the light meeting. She had heard that they were planning on sending a raid on the darks. She disagreed. The lights shouldn't go. What good would that do??

He nodded and was about to start out but halted as he heard Blackouts' question. Stopping he seemed to look thoughtful for a few moments as he thought. He had been born into a family of darks both his parents and their lands no longer existed here. He had been cast out of his herd when he had witnessed the death of one of the lands princesses that where liked better than him. They weren't angry that he had saw it but more that he had done nothing to stop it because he had been a young colt and larger than both the fillies. He had been adopted and then when he lived in a dark land he had met his love Titanic and some how slowly become neutral. He had decided never to go back to being dark because it just made things more difficult. Hue less orbs a few moments later where cast upon the fea and he spoke quietly in his deep rumbling vocals. "I would side with the lights. Get rid of the dark nuisance and everything goes back to normal. Help the darks and the neutrals will be the next they conquer." He fell silent and looked at her a few moments to see her reaction to his words wondering what she would have chosen.
(I am SO SORRY it took so long Boya!!)

She cocked her tiara as his answer flew to her. She nodded, totally understanding. She herself was born into the darkness, raised as a dark, and had just came from a dark home. But that didn't mean she would always side with them. She knew what he meant by the neutrals being the next the darks would take over after the lights. I completely understand. If I had a choice, I probobly wouldn't side at all. But of I had to, I'd go with the lights. Her vocals replied. The darks were behind her now, she was ready to move on. Ready to move on, and forget about all of the others. Attie, Peridot, Kaly, Morrighan..even Tantalize. She needed to forget them all. The truth was..she kind of feared the darks now. After what they had done to her, how much she hurt after being deserted, she didn't want to go back. She had vowed to herself that she wouldn't. Pistons carried her bodice forwards a few steps, and her tiara swung back around, liquid brown orbs blinking at Riadon. She gazed into his pools, trying to tell what he was thinking. He looked like he had just been deep in thought, as if his thoughts had carried him to a whole other place, but now, simply waiting for her to speak.
(thats quite alright. I haven't had much muse lately)

Riadon Fluted auds pricked forward to catch her vocals and he nodded understandingly. He hated to take sides that is why he was neutral. Lambrums parted to release the same low resonance from his chest cavity in reply. "Yes, I understand I don't like choosing sides either....I take it that question came up because of the war brooing?" Blackened orbs looked down upon the ebonite fea a glitter of amusment showing in his usually relaxed orbs as he awaited her reply. He wasn't really worried about the war since he was one that usually rolled with the punches. But he could understand why other could be worried or nervous about it.

Blackout
How did you guess? She said, laughter leaving her maw as well as her vocals. And I'm just trying to make conversation. So it'll be less awkward. She laughed again, smirking this time afterwards. She looked around the lands she was standing in. You are a lucky stag, you know that? To have claimed such a gorgey land, and actually taking the throne. It makes me wonder. Riadon seemed like such a simply character. To her, the kings and queens had always been a state, passed on through the bloodlines. They had always seemed a tad bit different, like they knew that they were better than everyone else. But Riadon seemed to oppose her theory. She liked it that way. She figured that she was jsut lucky enough to even have found a home. And how welcome she was, made her feel absolutely wonderful inside. It sort of made her giggle, and she grinned at Riadon.

Riadon Fluted auds where pricked forward to hear her words and his own small smile appeared upon his maw, it was an actual smile even though it was small opposed to his usual smirk. He nodded before his own good natured tones rumbled from his chest. "Ya I don't like awkward conversations either." The small smile remained on his facade as her second string of words where released and picked up by his swiveling auds. "I am glad you think my land is nice. Ya, I have had allot of good luck as of lately. I got my land I met up with old freinds...and I got you to come and live here" A small playful flirting look appeared in his occuli. But it was obvious it was much like a young colt flirting with a pretty filly rather than a full grown stallion talking with a mare. He enjoyed Blackouts' company considering for awhile he had been here all alone and just wanted some one to talk to. A good natured smile rested on his lambrums as he watched the fea. He really didn't fit the profile of a king but more that of just a humble herd stallion having a good time spending time with his herd. And he liked it that way he didn't enjoy acting high and mighty like many of the royals before him, but could take command if the need arose.
