The mighty stallion gazed over his fine land. Standing tall, his tassles flapped on his nape, banner streaming behind him as the wind flew by the large bod. He lowered his head and gave a throaty nicker. Though his land was ever so beautiful..it was so..empty. He only had two faens, and one foal at the moment. He sighed. He was getting old. His son had chosen to move to his own land. He wanted and heir. Badly. His other two foals had been fillas, so they couldn't do it. He had gone to his foals, to see if they had an heir yet, maybe for his land. Vigilante hadn't had any foals. Pre had. Three. But they were all fillas. Promise was too young for foals yet, so he figured it was up to him. But he was getting older, and with the leaves turning and it now being fall, he would have to wait until spring. He needed a beta. He knew it. But where would he find one? He had had one once, but he had disapeared soon after arrival. He sighed once more.

Moon Walker steped daintily toward her beloved mate, her kind eyes filled with loveand worry. Storm? she asked as she reached his side, Are you ok, love? Her golden coat gleamed in the autumn sun and her snowy mane and tail fell in silky cascades to grace her hide. This is about the heir, isn't it? she asked, nudging his cheek. We could have another foal, when Spring comes again. she offered, And if that foal isn't a colt I will call Vigilante home. He would take the position as your heir without a moment of thought, you know.

Oh I'm fine. He paused as she continued to ask questions. Maybe. He blinked. Oh I know, we already had that planned. Its not just the heir thing though, its more to do with beta. I need a beta, i know it, but I don't know where to find one. He nodded. But no, he wouldn't take Vigilante away from his new home. He just needed a beta. Thats all.

Go to the Bachelor Caverns. she supplied. That's where young, herdless stallions go to await a herd. You could get a Beta for us form there. she smiled and tugged his mane gently. Silly you for not thinking of it she laughed

The mighty stallion shook his head. I wish it were that simple, but I did go to the bachelor caverns, but nobody came to me. He said, looking at her and frowning, then laughing. I'm not that silly.

She nipped his ear gently. You are to me she murmured, laying her head on his back.

He smiled softly, letting his own eyes flutter close. The pair just stood there. He could feel the love between them. He didn't need to talk, nor look at her. Just knowing that she was there made him feel special. Something that he loved more than anything would need to make him feel special. Right?

Feeling the sweet vibes of love flowing gently through the air, Moon smiled silently. She didn't want to ruin such a perfect moment.

Moon put her head up and looked at Angle and Promise. Hello, you two she said, remembering a time when the herd was full of others. What brings you here?

He smiled to his other love and their filla. He loved seeing all the ones that he cared about, around at once. He didn't mind them being together at all. He grinned, looking at each in turn. He nodded, awaiting Angel and Promise to reply to Moon.

I was just walking around the terra with Promise,
and came across you two.
Angle nuzzled Trooper.
Hello m'love.

Promise raced up to the them,
heading for her father.
Than she stopped.

She turned to Moon.

She looked up at her and gave a big smile.
